This new location provides Collex with complete coverage across the entire Metro Detroit area. The Downriver Market has been an area that our insurance partners have asked us to go for many years, we are glad to finally be able to service that market area. With this additional location our customers in Metro Detroit are never more than a 20 minute drive to a Collex location.
The new location is 20,000 square feet, which makes it the second largest location in the Collex chain and is located on a main road in a prime commercial area across from Wal-Mart and several other large retailers.

To Whom It May Concern:
On July 21, 2010 my family was involved in a serious car accident on 1-75 near Fort Myers, Florida. We were returning from a family vacation and crashed two hours away from home. My husband, two young children and I defied all odds and walked away from the accident with no injuries. My brand-new, five day old Chevy Suburban was not as lucky. While I was, continue to be, extremely grateful that my family was okay, I was also confronted with dealing with my car.
Everyone I knew had an opinion, “Make sure that they total it because it’s brand new”, “don’t let them total it-it will cost more for you”, “don’t let them fix it, it will never be the same”, etc. It was very overwhelming. When my insurance adjuster called to say the car would be fixed, I asked to have it towed as close to home as possible. It was towed to Collex Collision in Naples, Florida that day, only an hour away from home.
Jessica, from Collex Collision, contacted me that same day with all of the information on the necessary paperwork to get the repairs started. Initially I spoke to Jim who gave me the information on how bad my car really was. I am completely ignorant about cars, but Jim was very patient with me as he answered all of my questions and calmed many of my fears about the extensive repairs. Since I was so far away, he promised to upload pictures daily, so that I could “watch” the repair process. I am still so grateful for that. During the seven weeks that Collex worked on my car, I was contacted by Scott or Jim at least once a week to be given an update. Being kept informed so frequently definitely made the whole process more bearable.
From beginning to end, the employees at Collex Collision were amazing; Jessica was always so friendly when she answered the phone. Scott, Jim, and Aaron were always available to answer my many questions and able to explain things in a manner that put me at ease. They all have wonderful customer service skills.
It has now been a month since I got my car back, and I have to tell you, I am amazed at what everyone at Collex Collision was able to do for me. From calming my fears after a traumatic accident, explaining the repair process, helping with a rental car, etc. ---they left nothing to chance. From the beginning, my main concern was getting the car back and having it restored to the safest possible condition. I can honestly say that my car came back to me in the same, if not better, condition that it was in before the accident. They truly made it “brand-new again.”
I waited for a month to write this because I wanted to see how things went with my car—if there were any problems with it after driving it for a while, etc. I am so happy to report that everything has gone so well. Everyone at Collex Collision promised me that they would not give me back my car until it was in perfect safe condition. They held true to their promise. My family and I are incredibly grateful to them for their hard work, diligence, thoughtfulness, patience, and amazing work ethic. I truly feel safe in my car again thanks to them and all that they did.

I unfortunately had the occasion to use the services of Collex at Cape Coral, Florida due to two accidents. Fortunately, Collex was recommended and I gave them a try. I must say, I was completely satisfied. My first impression was the cleanliness of the shop. Secondly was the way everything was organized, from the customer lounge to the reception area. The personnel were some of the best that I have ever encountered. They were very pleasant, informative and patient. They understood my concerns and accommodated me as best they could. They had my vehicle ready ahead of schedule and they did an excellent job both times. They detailed the vehicle and it looked like a brand new car. You are very fortunate to have the employee’s you have at that location. I rate them #1 plus!

Often times we receive telephone calls from our customers who give us the year, make and model of their car, explain where the damage is located and then ask “How much will it cost to fix it?” Our reply has always been “We need you to bring your vehicle in so that we can assess the damages”. Now we have a new program “e-Estimate” that will give our customers the convenience of getting estimates without coming in.
Customers will be directed to our website where they will click on the e-Estimate logo. From there they will follow a simple three-step process:
1. Take up to five digital pictures of the damage.
2. Fill out a simple form.
3. Attach the pictures to the file and email them to us.
Within one day, a representative from Collex Collision will contact you with the estimate. These estimates will not be binding, as no estimate is, but they will give the vehicle owner a “ballpark figure.”
All customer information will be strictly used for internal use. Collex Collision does not sell or exploit your information to any other entity or company. Collex Collision uses the strictest standards and protocols to protect our customer’s information.

Dear Mr. Gagliano:
Words cannot begin to express my appreciation for the service I received at your garage on 14 Mile Road in Clawson.
On the evening of March 15th I unfortunately had a rather bad accident. At the suggestion of my insurance agent I took my vehicle to your Collex Collision in Clawson to obtain and estimate, imagine my surprise when my vehicle was take in immediately, with a promise to be returned to me no later than Monday March 29th. Today, March 27th I picked up my car. It was in beautiful condition looked almost new, even though it is several years old. The pain job was incredible.
I am of the opinion that Brian Burleson has to be one of your most valued employees. He is extremely courteous, helpful and dedicated. He did everything possible to make certain my experience was a good one!
Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Amanda Bavol was more than helpful, she carefully explained my options for renting a car, and answered with knowledge all my questions.
